poetry.

stillness
bliss
time has stopped
silence
kiss
melodies sing on

a lovers gaze from across the way
sends my heart leaping
sun splashed memories
stamp their place in my heart

fall in a summers getaway
the place I call home
make my bed between two palms
the mist of the sea fills my lungs

eager, crisp smile
love on a face
childlike purity
he dwells in grace

awakened from a slumber
by the cooing of a turtledove
dreaming of lavender fields
and daisies dancing in my hair
